Fun Summer Activities on a Budget

We all love that summer time feeling, and with so many fun things to do and places to go it can begin to get costly. Here are a few of my favorite budget friendly activities that will hopefully give you some inspiration and won’t break the bank this summer!

  1. Start a fun new weekend craft.  Make a gift for your beloved friend or make cute decoration piece for your home. 

  2. Go to a flea market, grab a cool item or piece of furniture to repurpose

  3. Hit up a local pub or brewery for some fun live music

  4. Find a local Farmers Market – great for supporting local farmers AND getting fresh yummy fruits and vegetable

  5. Buy seeds and plant your favorite flowers

  6. Visit your local animal shelter and walk a dog

  7. Take a hike!  CNY is known for its beautiful state parks and waterfalls.  Some of my favorites are Green Lakes, Buttermilk Falls, Beaver Lake and Tinker Falls and there are so many more!
